4-6″ Quarry Spalls

Quarry spalls are the go-to material when you need mass and stability in one place. The 4–6 inch size is large enough to resist washout under significant water flow while still being manageable to place by excavator or by hand in tighter areas.

These are angular, freshly crushed pieces — not rounded river rock — so they interlock and stay where you put them. That matters most in erosion-prone areas like swales, stream banks, detention pond inlets, and cut slopes where water velocity would move smaller material right out. They're also commonly used as a construction entrance pad or staging area where you need a durable surface that won't sink into soft ground.
