1 Inch Drain Rock
1 inch drain rock is one of the most commonly specified materials in civil and site construction, and for good reason — it drains fast, stays open, and doesn't break down under load or moisture. The angular shape locks the rock together so it holds its position in a trench or along a foundation wall without washing away.
We run our drain rock clean, which means no fines or dirt mixed in to clog the void space over time. When you're installing a French drain, bedding a utility pipe, or building a free-draining base for a retaining wall, you need material that actually does the job five years from now, not just on day one.
Common Uses
- French drains and subsurface drainage systems
- Pipe bedding for water, sewer, and storm drain installation
- Foundation drainage and perimeter drain systems
- Retaining wall backfill and drainage layer
- Infiltration beds and dry wells
